Willow Smith is a ’21st Century Girl’!

Posted by holly On February - 28 - 2011

Here’s the brand new single from Willow Smith called 21st Century Girl – and is the follow-up to her highly addictive first single, Whip My Hair. Girlfriend is only ten-years-old but has such a neat sense of style, and even though she has been fast tracked into the industry because of her influential parents, Will and Jada Pinkett Smith, I actually do think she’s quite talented. Be sure to catch Willow on The Oprah Winfrey Show tomorrow (March 1st), where she’ll be performing this song for the first time!

‘Dancing with the Stars’ Cast Revealed

Posted by holly On February - 28 - 2011
Who will be sparkling in sequins on Season 12 of “Dancing with the Stars?” Hosts Tom Bergeron and Brooke Burke introduced 11 familiar faces to the ballroom. Reality star and Playboy bunny Kendra Wilkinson hopped on board. Actress Kirstie Alley, model Petra Nemcova, Disney star Chelsea Kane, and talk show host Wendy Williams round out the women. Sugar Ray Leonard has stepped into the ring. ‘Karate Kid’ Ralph Macchio knows how to wax on and wax off, but will he really wax for a chest-baring outfit? NFL star Hines Ward, radio personality Mike Catherwood, WWF’s Chris Jericho, and singer Romeo also dare to lace up dance shoes. In a live press conference, Kirstie said, “I think we’re just here trying not to fall on our butts the first week.” Ralph joked he’s going to have to “point his toes” more than in his karate chopping days. The road to the mirror ball trophy begins in a two-hour season premiere of “Dancing With the Stars” on Monday, March 21 on ABC. The pro dancer-celebrity pairings have not yet been announced.

Jane Russell Dies At Age 89

Posted by holly On February - 28 - 2011

One of Hollywood’s biggest sex symbols from the 1940’s and 50’s, Jane Russell, has died at the age of 89. Her son Buck Waterfield has stated she died at her home in Santa Monica, he didn’t say what the cause of death was.

Russell was known for her role in Howard Hughes film The Outlaws, which was released in 1943. She also had her own Vegas nightclub act and released an album in the later 50’s. She then made her Broadway debut in Stephen Sondheim’s Company in 1971, and more recently she was the spokesman for Playtex 18 hour bras.

Our thoughts go out to Russell’s family and friends at this time.

Miley Cyrus: Gearing Up for SNL Debut

Posted by admin On February - 28 - 2011

Freshly returned from a charitable mission, Miley Cyrus treated herself to a shoe shopping spree in New York City on Monday afternoon (February 28).

Looking in an ever so cheerful mood, the “So Undercover” cutie was joined by a gal pal as she perused the racks at a local boutique in between incessant texting sessions.

As for her recent travels, reports tell that Miss Cyrus made good on her word by making a mission trip to the still-recovering nation of Haiti.

Mily is told to have been working alongside actor Sean Penn as Haiti desperately tries to rebuild following the devastating 2010 earthquake.

As for the trip to NYC, the former Disney star is gearing up for her debut appearance as host of the long-running show “Saturday Night Live”.
