Hey, you know that meat dress Lady Gaga wore once? Like, a year ago? Well, PETA must have nothing better to do and all the good little animals must be safe because they’re back to their famewhoring ways again, demanding that Lady Gaga make a dress made of lettuce because that’s how “art” works: Basically, you just say what you want, the artist makes it and then you all pretend there’s a message in this aside from “people are morons.” RadarOnline reports:

If PETA India activists get their way, absolutely: The organization is urging the Born This Way singer to wear a dress made of lettuce when she headlines an invitation-only show in New Delhi this weekend, following India’s first Formula 1 Grand Prix race.

The dress, Sachin Bangera of PETA said, would take about five to six hours to construct, as Gaga would be decked out with lettuce leaves held together by pins and threads.

“If she agrees, we’ll make her a dress entirely of lettuce and held together by pins and threads,” Bangera said. “It will be a full length gown, and we’ll make sure it looks sexy … someone will be on hand to spray the lettuce with water so that it doesn’t wilt.

Is it weird that I love animals, but absolutely goddamn hate PETA with a fiery passion? People who are sane, rational people who love animals but understand that life is complicated and sometimes decisions need to be made on a case-by-case basis where animals may get the short-end of the stick in order to save human lives? Those are the people I want fighting for animal rights. Not a bunch of idiots who think sticking naked models in cages every time something bad happens to a chicken will somehow convince men to treat animals better. Hell, from a Pavlovian stand-point that doesn’t even make sense. On a side-note, did you know crystal meth is free of animal byproducts? Because that actually explains a lot.

I think both Jeremy Feist and I are slightly fascinated (and freaked out) by teen bride / famewhore Courtney Stodden (is she really just seventeen-years-old?!), and she just sat down with her hubby Doug Hutchison (51) to discuss the recent incident of getting kicked out of a Los Angeles pumpkin patch for lewd behavior with Dr. Drew Pinksy, watch the clip below. I really hope Courtney gets her own reality show, I could listen to her talk for hours on end, simply because I love the sound of a trainwreck!

Stepping out to promote their latest motion picture, Penelope Cruz and Emile Hirsch attended a photocall during the 6th International Rome Film Festival for “Venuto al Mondo” on Wednesday (October 26).

The “Bandidas” beauty and the “Into the Wild” actor were also joined by Margaret Mazzantini and Sergio Castellitto for the Auditorium Parco Della Musica event.

As for the movie, “Venuto al Mondo” is a drama that centers around a single mother who takes her teenage son to Sarajevo, where his father died in the Bosnian conflict years ago.

The film will be released in Italy on September 21, 2012 and after that, debut in Spain come November 9th.

They’re not far removed from becoming first time parents, and now James Van Der Beek and wife Kimberly are ready to add another little one to the family!

On Tuesday night (October 25), the former “Dawson’s Creek” star joyously announced that his lovely bride is pregnant with their second child.

Of the baby on board, Van Der Beek tweeted, “Just when we thought we couldn’t feel any more blessed, it seems the universe has plans to give our daughter a sibling.”

The impending addition will join one-year-old sister Olivia, of whom James posted a message following her birth in September 2010 reading, “Had the blessing of becoming a father over the weekend… Couldn’t come close to describing this bliss even if I had 140 million characters,” Van Der Beek wrote about his firstborn. “I apologize in advance for any obnoxiously precious new-dad tweets that may follow, I’m under her spell…”

It’s one of the most-talked-about flicks of the season, and on Tuesday night (October 25) “Like Crazy” held its big Hollywood premiere.

Joining in on the red carpet festivities were co-stars Felicity Jones, Anton Yelchin and Keeley Hazell, who all showed up at the Egyptian Theatre for the snazzy affair while posing for the press alongside director Drake Doremus prior to the evening screening.

Also on-hand for the film’s west coast debut were Jennifer Love Hewitt and boyfriend Jarod Einsohn, as well as Mary Elizabeth Winstead.

In a recent interview, Mr Yelchin talked about how he’s had experience with long-distance relationships, much the same as his character in the movie.

“Yeah, inevitably with this job, every relationship becomes a long-distance relationship. I’ve only had two serious relationships in my life, and they both lasted a couple years. And out of those couple of years, I’d be gone for 9 months. Eventually it puts a massive strain on it, especially if there are trust issues. Those trust issues tend to consume and destroy the relationship. It’s tough.”

Yelchin also noted that the whole improvisation aspect of the gig required him to dive head-first into his character.

“You lose your life when you enter this world. It was like I forgot what my life was. At the time — my girlfriend and I are no longer together — she and I saw each other once during that whole month. It still makes me sad, but you either commit to one thing or another, and I always pick movies. It’s my life; I don’t know what that says about me, but movies are what I love. So I saw her once, and I remember going, ‘Whoa…’ It’s a weird f-cking thing when you think in your head ‘That’s who you are. You’re my girlfriend. I love you. You’re funny, smart, cool, and sexy.’ I forgot all those things. I didn’t even remember what it was like to sleep with her because I was in this world the whole time. I was Jacob.”

“Like Crazy” also stars Jennifer Lawrence while set to hit theaters this Friday, October 28th.
