OMG, I was just about to go to bed, but then I discovered my darling Tori Amos unexpectedly dropped her brand new music video for Carry, which I’m assuming is the first official single off her highly-anticipated upcoming album Night Of Hunters. If you go to Tori’s Facebook page and share the video, you can unlock another new song called Shattering Sea, which is excellent! I love the simplicity of the video, she looks and sounds gorgeous. There’s seriously no one that tops her for me, she really is my favorite, I have super high expectations for her new release, I really feel like it will be one of Tori’s best.

Jessica Simpson & Eric Johnson: Adele Concert Couple

Treating themselves to a delightful date night, Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson were spotted at the Adele concert in Los Angeles last night (August 15).

The “With You” songstress and her handsome fiance hit up the Greek Theater for the gig, looking snazzy as they made their exit and headed home.

And it sounds like Jessica has a new enemy in Nicole Richie on their new reality series “Fashion Star,” making for plenty of drama.

An insider told press, “Nicole has made a few digs about Jessica ‘throwing her weight around,’ while Jessica has joked that someone would have to be on a star­vation diet to wear Nicole’s designs. Now they’re barely talking, which doesn’t bode well for the show’s success – and it isn’t even on the air yet!”

Here’s your daily dose of Schadenfreude: Kanye “STOP LOOKING AT ME LIKE I’M HITLER ‘CAUSE I’M MICHAEL JORDAN” West must have been goose-stepping a little too hard during his concert, because dude full-on wiped out during a concert. And not just a cute little “Oh, he fell down on his ass”, either. I mean his entire body was suspended in mid-air at one point. I think the saddest part about the whole thing is that, all-in-all, this is still probably the most dignified slip-up of his entire career.

The lineup has finally been announced for Virgin Mobile’s 2011 FreeFest, taking place on September 10th in Columbia, Maryland! FreeFest not only features incredible live music, it also helps to raise money for the homeless and at-risk kids! I am totally going to be there, I am seriously beyond stoked to finally see Aussie band Empire Of The Sun play live! FreeFest has always been about giving back. In 2009, the festival started as a way lighten things up in the face of a rough economy while drawing more attention to The RE*Generation, the company’s platform to address youth homelessness. Thanks to festival attendees in the past two years, Festival has raised nearly $300,000 and generated more than 55,000 hours of volunteer time. We want to continue the tradition this year of raising money and motivation people to give their time to help homeless and at-risk kids.

Since Virgin Mobile picks up the cost of tickets, they ask that everyone donate $10 or their time to volunteer for RE*Generation. People who volunteer at the Festival are “FreeIPs” and automatically receive a ticket, a hard to come by commodity as tickets normally “free-out” within 30 minutes.
