If PETA India activists get their way, absolutely: The organization is urging the Born This Way singer to wear a dress made of lettuce when she headlines an invitation-only show in New Delhi this weekend, following India’s first Formula 1 Grand Prix race.

The dress, Sachin Bangera of PETA said, would take about five to six hours to construct, as Gaga would be decked out with lettuce leaves held together by pins and threads.

“If she agrees, we’ll make her a dress entirely of lettuce and held together by pins and threads,” Bangera said. “It will be a full length gown, and we’ll make sure it looks sexy … someone will be on hand to spray the lettuce with water so that it doesn’t wilt.

Is it weird that I love animals, but absolutely goddamn hate PETA with a fiery passion? People who are sane, rational people who love animals but understand that life is complicated and sometimes decisions need to be made on a case-by-case basis where animals may get the short-end of the stick in order to save human lives? Those are the people I want fighting for animal rights. Not a bunch of idiots who think sticking naked models in cages every time something bad happens to a chicken will somehow convince men to treat animals better. Hell, from a Pavlovian stand-point that doesn’t even make sense. On a side-note, did you know crystal meth is free of animal byproducts? Because that actually explains a lot.

As for the movie, “Venuto al Mondo” is a drama that centers around a single mother who takes her teenage son to Sarajevo, where his father died in the Bosnian conflict years ago.

The film will be released in Italy on September 21, 2012 and after that, debut in Spain come November 9th.

On Tuesday night (October 25), the former “Dawson’s Creek” star joyously announced that his lovely bride is pregnant with their second child.

Joining in on the red carpet festivities were co-stars Felicity Jones, Anton Yelchin and Keeley Hazell, who all showed up at the Egyptian Theatre for the snazzy affair while posing for the press alongside director Drake Doremus prior to the evening screening.

Also on-hand for the film’s west coast debut were Jennifer Love Hewitt and boyfriend Jarod Einsohn, as well as Mary Elizabeth Winstead.

In a recent interview, Mr Yelchin talked about how he’s had experience with long-distance relationships, much the same as his character in the movie.

“Yeah, inevitably with this job, every relationship becomes a long-distance relationship. I’ve only had two serious relationships in my life, and they both lasted a couple years. And out of those couple of years, I’d be gone for 9 months. Eventually it puts a massive strain on it, especially if there are trust issues. Those trust issues tend to consume and destroy the relationship. It’s tough.”

Yelchin also noted that the whole improvisation aspect of the gig required him to dive head-first into his character.

“You lose your life when you enter this world. It was like I forgot what my life was. At the time — my girlfriend and I are no longer together — she and I saw each other once during that whole month. It still makes me sad, but you either commit to one thing or another, and I always pick movies. It’s my life; I don’t know what that says about me, but movies are what I love. So I saw her once, and I remember going, ‘Whoa…’ It’s a weird f-cking thing when you think in your head ‘That’s who you are. You’re my girlfriend. I love you. You’re funny, smart, cool, and sexy.’ I forgot all those things. I didn’t even remember what it was like to sleep with her because I was in this world the whole time. I was Jacob.”

“Like Crazy” also stars Jennifer Lawrence while set to hit theaters this Friday, October 28th.

Making sure to maintain her well-kept self, Beyonce Knowles was all smiles as she stepped out for a pampering session in New York City’s East Village on Tuesday night (October 25).

The expecting singer was in quite the cheerful mood as she and an assistant strolled out of Sakura Nail Salon following the mani/pedi treatment.

Miss Knowles’ outing comes just as she readies for the release of a new music video featuring J. Cole to accompany her hit single “Party”.

Of the effort, J. Cole told press, “She’s such a hard working, incredible artist. I’ll never forget that day we shot the video, I’ll never forget being able to be on that song, and hopefully we got more as time goes on.”

“Party” will debut Wednesday night at 6P/5C on BET’s “106 & Park.”

The upcoming action/adventure film features Tom Cruise, Jeremy Renner, Simon Pegg, Paula Patton, Josh Holloway, Michael Nyqvist, Vladimir Mashkov, Lea Seydoux and Anil Kapoor.

Opening in IMAX theaters on December 16 and conventional theaters on December 21, the new trailer for the motion picture will be out this Thursday.

Per IMDB’s website, “Ghost Protocol” has a plot that sees the IMF shut down when it’s implicated in the bombing of the Kremlin, causing Ethan Hunt and his new team to go rogue to clear their organization’s name.

“I think you see more of the party side of me … on the show, but right now, you’re talking to Nicole,” the reality star told Matt Lauer. “It’s like the soft, calm, business-ready person.” Lauer asked the Marlboro, New York native if she believes she can be a figure for young women to pattern themselves after. “Snooki’s definitely not a role model — Snooki’s just there to have fun in life — Nicole, I would say, I can be a role model. I’m very strong, independent and I’m loveable, I guess,” she said.

In some sick, weird way, I think Snooki is actually smarter than people give her credit for. I mean granted, she took a job where MTV gives her a bottle of booze with the label “put this in your face”, films the ensuing train wreck, then writes her a check, so it’s not like she’s by no stretch of the imagination a poet laureate. Still, at least she can distinguish between who she is on the show and who she is in reality, which is a hell of a lot better than most other stars who slowly descended into crazy asshole tendencies (Speidi, The Situation, Tila Tequila … the list is endless really).
